Job summary

Kwena Human Capital is assisting a global engineering client in Postmasburg, Northern Cape, to recruit a Planning Engineer for a project-based contract through November 2027. The role focuses on developing schedules and coordinating EPC/ commissioning activities for large renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, has solid experience in project planning for solar energy, is proficient with Primavera or MS Project, and possesses a valid driver’s license with own

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience planning on large renewable energy projects, preferably solar.
• Experience with Primavera or MS Projects.
• PV/BESS/power/infrastructure experience.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Willing to relocate to Postmasburg, Northern Cape.
• Must pass a site medical.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project schedule.
• Plan engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Set milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Track progress against the baseline programme.
• Produce progress reports and forecasts.
