Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in-hospital and to the public while complying with SAPC regulations. You will ensure medicine availability, accurate dispensing, and efficient stock management. The role includes outpatient service delivery and mentoring junior staff.

Essential qualifications include B Pharm / B Sc Pharm / Dip Pharm with hospital pharmacy experience. Familiarity with UNISOLV, AS400 and SAP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge of Pharmacy Act and Good Pharmacy Practices.
• Understanding of medicine control regulations and formularies.
• Experience with relevant pharmacy systems and stock control.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide a comprehensive, professional, and cost-effective pharmaceutical service to in-hospital patients and the public, in full compliance with applicable legislation, SAPC regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
