Requirements include a Master’s or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, 4+ years in formulation development, and proficiency with HPLC, DSC, TGA and particle size analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Expertise in various dosage forms and formulation technologies.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques (HPLC, DSC, TGA, particle size analysis).
• Strong understanding of drug delivery, pharmacokinetics, and biopharmaceutics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct formulation development studies for various dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules, injectables, topicals).
• Characterize the physical and chemical properties of drug substances and excipients, and assess their compatibility.
• Optimize formulation composition and manufacturing processes to achieve desired product performance, stability, and bioavailability.
• Develop and validate analytical methods required for formulation characterization and quality control.
• Support technology transfer activities to manufacturing sites and troubleshoot formulation-related issues during scale-up.
• Document all experimental work meticulously in laboratory notebooks and technical reports, ensuring compliance with GMP.
