Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking a precise Quality Control Analyst to join their pharmaceutical laboratory team. You will perform analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy and 1-2 years' QC laboratory experience, with proficiency in HPLC, GC and GLP-compliant procedures. On-the-job training and a stable, safe working environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related science field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably pharma.
• Proficiency with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and GMP/GLP practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using approved methods (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis).
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Document all testing procedures and results in lab notebooks and LIMS.
• Investigate OOS results and participate in root cause analysis.
• Prepare standard solutions and reagents required for testing.
