Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join the laboratory team in Nelspruit (Mbombela). You will perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure quality specifications and regulatory standards are met.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related science discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and Karl Fischer titration.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using validated methods.
Perform laboratory procedures such as chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR), and titration.
Accurately record and document all testing results, ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures and GMP.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to schedules.
Prepare analytical reports and certificates of analysis.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, assisting in root cause analysis.
