Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Quality Control Analyst for a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory in East London. The role focuses on analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and KF to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Pharmacy with at least 2 years in QC, strong GLP/GMP knowledge, and excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of QC analyst experience in pharma.
• Proficiency with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and wet chemistry methods.
• Strong GLP and GMP understanding and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and KF.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards for analyses.
• Document results accurately in notebooks and LIMS.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to schedules.
• Investigate OOS results and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP and internal SOPs.
