Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Klerksdorp. You will oversee the QMS, ensure GMP/ISO compliance, manage audits and inspections, and drive continuous product quality improvements in a hands-on environment.

The role requires strong leadership, deep QA knowledge, and a track record of implementing CAPA and change control in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related).
• Minimum 8 years in Quality Assurance in pharma, with at least 3 years in management.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, ISO standards and pharmaceutical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA/change control actions.
• Lead the QA team with guidance, training and performance management.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols and change controls.
• Investigate deviations, complaints and recalls; implement preventive measures.
