Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA operations in Rustenburg. You will establish and maintain a robust QMS, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and efficacy standards under SAHPRA regulations.

You will manage audits, CAPA, and change control while mentoring the QA team and collaborating with Production and R&D to drive a quality-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Quality Assurance within pharma.
• Strong knowledge of SAHPRA and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Proven leadership of QA teams and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS strategy and implementation across manufacturing and development.
• Oversee batch record review, deviations, CAPA, and change control.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external inspections (SAHPRA).
• Mentor QA staff and drive training and performance.
• Ensure releases meet specs and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Production and R&D to foster quality culture.
