Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Pharmaceutical Project Manager for our Bloemfontein office to lead key development and commercialization initiatives. You will manage end-to-end projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and GMP-compliant execution while coordinating R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and marketing.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a scientific or business field (Master's/MBA preferred) and at least 5 years in pharma project management, with a proven track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; Master's or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record in drug development or commercialization projects.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain from discovery to market.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
