The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical background and practical experience in petrochemical systems, with proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and process safety management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years in petrochemical process engineering.
- Strong understanding of unit operations (distillation, cracking, reforming).
- Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize petrochemical processes for yield, energy efficiency, and product quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements, including equipment changes.
- Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot deviations, and apply corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and P&IDs.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and research teams.
