Job summary

Sigma is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Cape Town to turn operational data into clear insights and practical recommendations. You will strengthen KPI frameworks, develop Power BI dashboards, and support data-led decision making across operational and support teams.

You will design metrics, monitor productivity and planning, and present actionable insights to senior leaders. A strong BI mindset and stakeholder management skills are essential for improving organisational performance.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ experience in performance analytics, BI or data analytics.
• Strong experience developing and supporting Power BI reports, dashboards and visual insight solutions.
• Understanding KPI design, measurement, performance frameworks and reporting governance.
• Experience analysing large datasets and operational metrics (productivity, quality, efficiency).
• Confident presenting findings to executive, senior and operational stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 capability; SQL knowledge and report automation is advantageous.
• Understanding of LLMs and AI framework design is desirable.
• Problem-solving, process improvement and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with experience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse site-wide metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Design and enhance KPI frameworks aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor productivity, utilization and efficiency; investigate drivers behind performance.
• Support planning and workforce management with capacity and demand insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, executive packs and regular reporting.
• Assess process adherence and improvement opportunities with operations teams.
• Translate data into clear recommendations for management.
• Present findings to management and stakeholders; maintain data quality and governance.
