Pick n Pay in Cape Town seeks a Senior BI Analyst to deliver high-quality BI solutions enabling data-driven decisions across the organisation. Combines analytical capability with data visualisation to translate business requirements into dashboards and reports.

You will partner with Data Product Owners, Data Analysts, and Data Engineering to ensure insights are accurate, relevant, and aligned to business metrics; experience with Power BI/Tableau; knowledge of retail domain is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
6+ years’ BI/Analytics experience with production dashboards and reports.
Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets.
Experience with data warehouses and analytical datasets.
Proficient in modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Retail domain knowledge and Agile familiarity are a plus.

Responsabilités

Work with Data Product Owners to understand analytical needs and KPIs.
Translate requirements into BI specs including measures and layouts.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using approved BI platforms.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to align BI solutions with data models.
Validate data accuracy, performance, and governance requirements.
