Job summary

KFC Rohloff Group in Cape Town is seeking a Business Intelligence Business Analyst to bridge business needs and BI solutions. You will gather requirements, define KPIs, and help design dashboards and data models that drive operational efficiency and growth.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into specifications, and promote best practices for reporting. A strong grounding in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and a solid understanding of business processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Analysis, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or BI-related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of business processes and KPIs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Capability to project manage BI tasks from start to finish.
• Knowledge of FMCG or retail industries (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Power Automate and SharePoint (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to collect and document BI requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications for reporting and analytics.
• Work closely with the BI team to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Participate in workshops and sessions to refine complex requirements and advanced analytics use cases.
• Identify opportunities to enhance BI processes and reporting efficiency.
• Promote best practices and drive user adoption across the organization.
• Identify opportunities in business processes and data points to enhance decision-making insights.
• Document 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' process maps for clarity and improvement.
