People Integration Manager (HR) required in Cape Town.
People Integration Manager to own people due diligence and the employee transition, giving the COO clear, practical visibility of legal, employee-relations, payroll and organisational risks.
Deliver in a senior, hands-on functional lead, primarily overseeing HR due diligence, TUPE / contract change support and people transition; as well as Employee data, onboarding, consultation logistics and case tracking.
You Need:
- Solid HR generalist, ER, HR Integration or HR Transformation, with recent practical exposure to UK employment law and practice.
- Working knowledge of right-to-work controls, TUPE, contract variation, consultation, grievance, disciplinary, performance, redundancy and data confidentiality requirements.
- Experience reviewing contracts and employee data, managing sensitive cases and preparing decision-ready risk summaries.
- South African HR experience alone is insufficient without demonstrable UK experience.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is strongly preferred;
- Ability to separate administrative completion, professional HR judgement and matters requiring UK employment counsel.
To Do:
- Complete HR diligence across employee lists, status and right-to-work evidence, contracts, policies, pay and benefits, holiday, pensions, payroll inputs, family leave, working patterns, length of service, absence, grievances, disciplinaries, performance cases, claims, settlement terms, restrictive covenants and key-person risk.
- Identify the likely application and implications of TUPE and other UK employment requirements, while obtaining UK legal advice for final interpretation and material decisions.
- Map contract and policy differences; assess the impact, risks and process requirements of proposed changes, harmonisation or migration.
- Prepare employee data, consultation and communication plans, manager packs, FAQs, onboarding, HRIS/payroll transition inputs and Day 1 people controls.
- Track sensitive employee-relations cases and ensure that investigation, evidence, confidentiality, timescales and UK escalation routes are maintained.
- Coordinate organisation design, role mapping, retention risks, vacancies, training and cultural / engagement actions.
- Complete people-related hypercare and hand over open cases, actions and employee records to named UK BAU owners.
