Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company in Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa is seeking a People Intern to support the People Analytics & Insights team. You will help maintain HR data, prepare reports, and learn how people insights shape business decisions.

This 18-month contract provides hands-on experience with HRIS, data testing, and process improvement for final-year students. Responsibilities include using Microsoft Office, basic reporting, testing tools, and collaborating with HR colleagues.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and comfort with numbers
• Exposure to data analytics, BI, or HR systems beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support HR data accuracy and reporting
• Assist with testing new tools and improving data processes
• Contribute to HR analytics to inform business decisions
• Maintain up-to-date and reliable people data
• Collaborate with the People Analytics & Insights team to learn systems and processes
• Manage time effectively and work well in a team
