Job summary

Heineken Beverages South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Business Intelligence and Insights Lead with strong expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and BI reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze large datasets, and develop data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires at least 6 years in data analysis, proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools, and experience with Agile methodologies. Based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, the position is permanent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data analysis; FMCG experience preferred.
• Proficient in SQL and data querying.
• Experience with Python, Databricks, R, or SAS and BI tools like Power BI/Tableau/SAP BI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design data solutions.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support querying and analysis.
• Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate data solutions with systems and applications.
• Participate in strategic planning related to data analysis and data management.
• Stay updated on data analysis trends and share knowledge with the team.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory analysis to identify patterns.
