Job summary

Industrial Bakeware Company (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Payroll Specialist to cover maternity leave for 4 months. The role involves managing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining employee records.

The ideal candidate will require Matric and experience with payroll software, particularly Sage 300 People. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.

This is a full-time in-person position based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required; Diploma or Degree in Finance or Payroll preferred.
• Previous payroll experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with payroll software and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process accurate and timely payroll runs.
• Handle medical aid and pension fund applications.
• Add and update employees on Sage 300 People.
• Process new employee onboarding and terminations.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly payroll reports.
