Job summary

Super Group International in Cape Town seeks a Payroll Manager to oversee end‑to‑end payroll operations for all staff. You will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing while leading a payroll team and coordinating with HR and finance.

You will bring 5+ years in payroll, with 3+ in management, strong Excel skills, and experience with Payspace and Workday to optimize processes and controls in a fast‑paced online gaming environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years payroll processing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
• Experience with Payspace and Workday platforms.

Responsibilities

• Payroll review, processing and timely distribution for all employees.
• Lead and develop the payroll team; assign tasks and evaluate performance.
• Ensure tax compliance and accurate payroll reporting for management.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting on benefits, deductions and system improvements.
• Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies for staff.
• Coordinate audits and respond to external requests related to payroll.
