Hospitality Hireis recruiting on behalf of South Africa’s largest privately owned property group, with a diverse and growing global real estate portfolio. Locally, the group develops mixed-use precincts, secure lifestyle estates, inclusionary housing, and premium retirement villages.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-orientedPayroll Managerto take full responsibility for processing payroll for approximately 500 employees across thirteen legal entities.

• Process all monthly payroll inputs accurately: new hires, exits, commissions, and hourly wages
• Prepare reconciliations and detailed payroll costing and variance reports using Excel
• Develop and enforce robust payroll controls, procedures, and policies
• Drive continuous process improvements and optimise systems (SAGE300)
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Manage statutory payments (PAYE, UIF, Workmen’s Compensation)
• Oversee payroll administration and resolve employee queries
• Work with SAGE consultants for technical support and troubleshooting
• Partner with the Finance Director on payments, reconciliations, and reporting
• Liaise with medical aid and group life insurance service providers
• Provide audit support and resolve related queries promptly
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 3 years' experience usingSAGE300 Payroll(non-negotiable)
• Proven track record managing payroll for at least500 employees(non-negotiable)
• StrongExcel skillsincluding advanced formula use (non-negotiable)
• Must reside in or near theSouthern Suburbs of Cape Town
