Edge Executive Search Group is seeking a payroll professional for a growing financial services client specializing in payroll, compliance, and business support solutions.

You will provide expert Sage Pastel Payroll support, process payrolls, and ensure EMP501 reconciliations and E@syFile submissions are completed accurately. A strong client-relations mindset and development of additional solutions are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' payroll experience.
• Proficiency in Sage Pastel Payroll and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Proven capacity in business development or sales promotion.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support to Sage Pastel Payroll clients via phone and onsite.
• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls with precision.
• Complete EMP501 reconciliations and E@syFile submissions.
• Keep up to date with payroll legislation, tax and compliance.
• Assist clients with software queries and technical support.
• Promote payroll software packages, upgrades, and consulting services.
• Cultivate client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Provide expert telephonic and onsite support to Sage Pastel Payroll clients

• Process payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis with precision

• Complete EMP501 reconciliations and E@syFile submissions to ensure compliance

• Stay abreast of payroll, tax, and legislative requirements, ensuring all processes adhere to current legislation

• Assist clients with software queries and technical support to optimise their payroll systems

• Promote payroll software packages, upgrades, and consulting services to expand client solutions

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities during quieter periods

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' payroll experience

• Proficiency in Sage Pastel Payroll and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance

• Excellent client relationship management skills

• Ability to provide technical support and resolve payroll-related issues
