Role Purpose

To support the Employee Benefits team with end-to-end processing and financial accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years experience in payroll accounting
• 2 years managing a team of Assistant Accountants and Payroll Administrators
• In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, accounting principles and payroll regulations.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices, as well as in-depth knowledge of South African payroll and tax laws.
• Proficient in payroll software and systems, such as Oracle.
• Knowledge of legislation as it pertains to Payroll.
• Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel expertise is a must).
• Supervise, mentor and develop a team to ensure high performance.
• Budget and forecasting for various countries (RSA and African countries).
