Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Product Manager, Payments Infrastructure based in South Africa. You will shape core systems enabling secure, reliable, and scalable money movement across markets and currencies, owning the technical roadmap for payment processing, settlement, ledger systems, and banking integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management with 3+ years in payment infrastructure or core banking platforms.
• Strong technical fluency for architecture discussions on APIs and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's or master's in Engineering, CS, Product Management or related field.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across markets and time zones.
• Knowledge of stablecoin or crypto settlement networks is a plus.
• Experience with banking partners and cross-border payment rails is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the technical roadmap for core payment infrastructure including rails and ledgers.
• Lead development of virtual accounts and Virtual IBAN infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Treasury, and Compliance to translate product needs into priorities.
• Evaluate integrations with banking partners, liquidity providers, and settlement networks.
• Define routing and currency conversion strategies across networks like USDC/USDT/PYUSD.
• Monitor performance metrics: success rates, settlement times, uptime, reconciliation.
