Job summary

Paystack in South Africa is seeking an experienced Product Manager to shape the South African product roadmap and deliver customer-facing digital payment solutions. You will work with engineers, designers, data analysts, and external partners to craft API-driven financial offerings.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and a track record in fintech payments. You will collaborate closely with banks and card schemes to meet customer needs and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payments or banking environments.
• API-driven financial solution design and implementation experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for South Africa.
• Drive full lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to deliver scalable payment solutions.
• Produce detailed product documentation (PRDs, merchant comms, marketing docs).
• Own blockers and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Translate customer needs into deliverable solutions.
• Engage with banks, card schemes and partners to meet customer needs.
