Assign Services (Pty) Ltd in Northcliff, Johannesburg, is seeking a pasta-focused cook to elevate our guests' dining experience. You will contribute to a stylish setting known for warm hospitality and a diverse menu that celebrates Italian-inspired dishes.

Prepare pasta and sauces to standardized recipes, manage multiple tickets during service, and uphold hygiene and HACCP standards in a vibrant, upscale environment with a collaborative team.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' pasta/hot section experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Solid knife skills and fundamental sauce-making techniques.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure during peak times.
• Valid food handler's certificate.
• Strong communication skills and hygiene awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare pasta and sauces according to standardized recipes.
• Cook pasta to order, managing multiple tickets during service.
• Maintain pasta station mise en place and FIFO stock.
• Ensure consistency in portioning, plating, and presentation.
• Uphold HACCP standards and food safety at all times.
• Communicate with pass/expo during service to manage ticket times.
