Job summary

Morgan Group in Welkom is seeking a Parts Department Manager to safeguard profitability and meet manufacturer and dealership targets. You will maintain tight control over inventory and drive stock levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and strong financial performance.

The role requires at least 1 year of managerial experience and 3–5 years in parts, with excellent communication and customer service skills. A clean criminal record and computer literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate is required.
• Minimum of 1 year managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels daily to ensure manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
• Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
• Clear out aged stock and conduct stock takes weekly to yearly.
• Ensure parts sales target and profitability are met.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and implement marketing strategies.
• Develop and lead a high performance team.
• Visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories.
• Ensure all exchange items are returned and company discounts are applied.
• Care for company property and ensure economical use (e.g., vehicle).
