Morgan Motor Group in Bethlehem, South Africa, is seeking a Parts Department Manager responsible for ensuring department profitability, achieving manufacturer and dealership targets, and maintaining strict stock controls. The role requires hands-on leadership to drive stock accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will monitor stock levels, manage cash flow, conduct regular stock takes, and visit distributors to promote parts and accessories.

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate is required.
Minimum of 1 year managerial experience is required.
Minimum of 3–5 years' parts experience is required.
Exceptional communication skills are required.
Exceptional customer service is required.
Clear criminal record is required.
Computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.
Manage Team for High Performance Culture.
To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories.
To ensure all exchange items are returned.
To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
To care for company property and ensure economic use e.g. car/delivery van.
