Job summary

Morgan Motor Group in Welkom, South Africa, seeks an experienced Parts Department Manager to drive profitability, meet dealer targets and maintain strict inventory controls. You will lead a team, monitor stock, manage pricing and discount structures, visit distributors, and ensure customer satisfaction while delivering high performance across the department.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in parts, at least 1 year in a leadership role, excellent communication and customer service skills, and

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate.
Minimum of 1 year managerial experience.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' parts experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Exceptional customer service.
Clear criminal record.
Computer literate.

Responsibilities

Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.
Manage Team for High Performance Culture.
To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories
To ensure all exchange items are returned.
To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
To care for company property and ensure economic use e.g. car/delivery van.
