Job summary

RecruitMyMom in Cape Town is seeking a Debtors Clerk for a 3-month on-site contract in Maitland. You will own day-to-day accounts receivable, drive debtor management, and ensure accurate ledgers to support cash flow in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

The role is part-time, 3 half-days per week on-site. Immediate availability is preferred and Sage accounting software experience is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated practical experience as a Debtors Clerk or in accounts receivable.
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Prior hands-on experience working with Sage accounting software.
• Ability to work on-site in Maitland on a half-day basis, 3 days per week.
• Immediate or short-notice availability for a 3-month contract duration.

Responsibilities

• Manage debtors ledger activities and reconciliations using Sage .
• Follow up on outstanding accounts to support efficient cash collection
• Allocate incoming payments accurately against debtor accounts
