Placements24 is seeking a Part-time Nanny for a family in Paarl, Western Cape, to care for two children aged 4 and 7. The role combines in-home duties with occasional remote tasks, offering flexibility and a warm family environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of childcare experience, First Aid and CPR, and strong communication. You will plan educational activities, prepare snacks, supervise routines, and support learning while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nanny or childcare experience.
• Experience with school-aged children and preschoolers.
• Ability to create engaging, educational activities.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Clean criminal record and background check.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for two children aged 4 and 7.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare healthy snacks and light meals for the children.
• Ensure the children's safety and supervision at all times.
• Assist with homework and support the children's learning endeavors.
• Manage children's routines, including after-school activities and occasional errands.
• Maintain a tidy and organized environment for the children.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the children's day and progress.
• Perform occasional administrative tasks remotely as needed by the family.
