Placements24 is seeking an experienced nanny for a family in Paarl, Western Cape. The role emphasizes active involvement in the 3-year-old and 5-year-old's intellectual, social, and emotional growth, with planning for age-appropriate learning activities and occasional remote coordination with traveling parents.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in childcare, a relevant degree, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication. A hybrid arrangement combines home-based care with remote planning support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional childcare experience with preschool-aged children.
• Degree or significant coursework in Early Childhood Education or Psychology.
• First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, safe care for two children aged 3 and 5.
• Plan daily routines including meals, naps, and play.
• Lead age-appropriate educational activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean, organized play and living space.
• Assist with potty training and developmental milestones as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress and well-being.
• Ensure children's safety during outings and remote planning with parents.
• Support positive behavior and emotional expression.
• Occasionally coordinate remotely with parents for educational planning.
