Job summary

You will operate cutting machinery, assist customers, and help with housekeeping and safety compliance in a busy retail environment. This position requires Grade 12 or equivalent, and experience with cutting/edging machinery is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Basic calculations for measurement and tolerances.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience with cutting and edging machinery would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate panel saw to cut materials according to cutting lists and customer specifications.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; ensure machinery is maintained and functional.
• Provide customer assistance and respond to product queries promptly.
• Assist in stock handling and ensure accurate packing and labeling of cut materials.
• Adhere to OHSA safety standards and loss prevention policies.
