Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Polokwane, South Africa, is seeking a Panel Saw Operator (Internal Applications Only - Seshego) to cut customer estimations to specification and on schedule.

Responsibilities include accurate machine operation, customer assistance, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the workspace. The role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends and holidays and a proactive attitude toward loss prevention and quality control.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications.
• 2 years carpentry experience would be advantageous.
• 1 year experience working with cutting and edging machinery would be advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, prompt Customer Service.
• Advise Customers correctly on product.
• Assist Customer with any product queries.
• Assist with Customer complaints timely.
• Must be available in area of responsibility.
• Assist in other departments as and when required
• Ensure that your area is free of obstacles and stock is merchandised.
• Complete required checklists for duty periods.
• Maintain OHSA safety compliance in area of responsibility.
• Prevent loss and report suspicious behaviour to Management.
• Calibrate machines accurately to cut lists and minimize wastage.
