Job summary

Ubuntu Resource Management is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative for the Packaging division in Gauteng. The role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and presenting packaging solutions to clients in the Roodepoort area.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years in sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and be willing to travel with their own vehicle. Saturday work until 11:00 AM is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and proactive problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within assigned territory.
• Contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
• Promotes orders from existing and prospective customers through relationship-based approach.
• Demonstrates products and services and assists customers in choosing solutions.
• Develops and maintains business relationships to generate new business.
• Makes calls, visits, and presentations to customers; keeps travel logs and client reports.
• Researches sources for prospective customers and potential.
• Develops written proposals/quotations for customers.
• Expedites resolution of customer problems and meets monthly targets.
