Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is a remote role across South Africa, with a focus on outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and multi-channel sequences.
• Experience using Salesforce and managing your pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts across South Africa to match ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
