Job summary

Stryker seeks a Sales Representative to drive growth of the Joint Replacement portfolio across Limpopo. You will act as a trusted advisor to orthopedic surgeons and hospital stakeholders, combining clinical knowledge with consultative sales skills.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will own territory strategy, execution, and results, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of successful orthopedic portfolio sales.
• Ability to independently manage a territory and close business.
• Established orthopedic network in Limpopo.
• Strong commercial understanding of public and private healthcare.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High integrity and commitment to patient safety.
• Fluency in English and a valid driver's licence.
• Preferred: Tender support and procurement experience.
• Preferred: Prior Arthroplasty / Joint Replacement sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a robust territory business plan for Limpopo.
• Drive revenue growth by winning market share and closing opportunities.
• Build value-based relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, and leadership.
• Act as clinical and commercial expert on Joint Replacement products and procedures.
• Provide in-theatre support, education, and training during procedures.
• Use consultative selling to understand needs and position solutions.
• Support pricing strategies and tenders with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Monitor competitors and market trends for portfolio growth.
• Mentor junior sales colleagues and contribute to capability development.
• Ensure reporting and compliance with ethics, quality, and service standards.
