Department of Health, Gauteng College of Nursing (Rahima Moosa Campus), invites applications for a Lecturer position in the Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Nursing. The role focuses on delivering education to specialist student nurses in theory and clinical settings.

The successful candidate will guide, support, and assess learners, participate in curriculum implementation, and engage in scholarly research and community engagement activities at the campus.

Formación

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• A basic qualification accredited with the SANC in terms of Government Notice R.425, or equivalent allowing registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife/Accoucheur.
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education.
• Post Basic Diploma in Orthopaedic Nursing Science (R.212) or Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Nursing (R.635) registered with SANC.
• Master’s degree in nursing or public health.
• Proof of current registration with SANC.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate education and training of specialist student nurses in clinical and theory settings.
• Guide and support student nurses effectively.
• Exercise control over specialist student nurses and assess competency.
• Participate in college activities and scholarly research.
