Qualifications

A Grade 12 / NSC.
SANC-registered Professional Nurse and Midwife/Accoucheur.
Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education and Nursing Administration.
Post Basic Diploma/Btech in Occupational Health Nursing (R.212) or Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing (R.635).
Master’s degree in nursing or public health.
Proof of current SANC registration.
Certificate in Assessor and Moderator.
Good communication, supervisory, report writing, and presentation skills.
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A valid driver’s license.
PNDI: 4+ years nursing experience after registration; 1+ year in Occupational Health.
PNDII: 14 years nursing experience after registration; 10 years in Nursing Education.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Education and Training of Postgraduate Diploma students in clinical and theory.
Guide, support, and exercise control over Postgraduate Diploma students.
Implement assessment strategies to determine students’ competency.
Participate in Campus and College committee meetings and activities.
Engage in Scholarly Research and Community Engagement activities.
Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and review.
