Job summary
The Department of Health, located at Gauteng College of Nursing (Rahima Moosa Campus), invites applications for two Lecturers for the Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery. You will educate and mentor specialist student nurses in both clinical and theoretical settings.

Qualifications
- A Grade 12/National Senior Certificate and SANC registration as a professional nurse/midwife.
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education and a Post Basic Diploma in Midwifery/Neonatal Nursing Science.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health; data analysis stage considered.
- Proof of current SANC registration and teaching experience is valued.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; valid driver's license.
- PND1: 4+ years nursing experience; PND2: 14+ years with 10+ years in Nursing Education.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate education and training of specialist student nurses in clinical and theory.
- Guide and support student nurses effectively and exercise supervision.
- Implement assessment strategies to determine competency.
- Participate in curriculum implementation and college activities.
