Job summary

M3 Human Capital Management (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Production Manager based on a farm 10km outside Greyton, reporting to the General Manager. The role covers the overall management of Apple and Pear units and oversees production processes, harvest planning, and workforce management.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a similar role, knowledge of apples and pears, and be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Diploma/Degree in Agriculture is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Agriculture will be advantageous.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of apples and pears.
• Must be able to take full responsibility and work in a team.
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).

Responsibilities

• Overall management of Apple and Pear units (~70 ha). (Production processes control)
• Plan and coordinate harvest schedules.
• Resource and cost management.
• Workforce management, including training and development.
• Recordkeeping and documentation for quality and ethical processes.
• Facilities management and maintenance.
• Planting of new orchards.
• Managing Global Gap and SIZA.
• All other tasks related to this position.
