Job summary

HR Management & Support Services is assisting a farming operation located about 40 km outside Ceres in the Warm Bokkeveld to hire a Junior Production Manager to coordinate apple/pear and onion production and to oversee production staff.

Applicants should have Matric, an agriculture qualification is a plus, plus strong MS Office skills, a valid driver's licence, and demonstrated leadership, planning and teamwork abilities. The role offers a market-related package including a vehicle and a house.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is required.
• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture is advantageous.
• Experience in apple and pear production; onion production is a strong advantage.
• Good computer literacy (MS Office).
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong leadership qualities, proactive, and can take initiative.
• Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
