Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a Finance professional to manage and consolidate operating expenditure across multiple entities, lead annual opex budgeting, and provide variance analysis. You will develop dashboards, support ERP initiatives and act as a business partner to cost centre owners and senior stakeholders.

The role requires CA(SA) or CIMA with related experience, strong Excel and financial modelling skills, and multi-entity exposure.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification or equivalent, newly qualified or up to 3 years post-qualification.
• CIMA with equivalent experience considered.
• Articles completed at a recognised professional services or audit firm.
• Experience in management accounting, cost reporting, budgeting or opex management.
• Multi-entity and intercompany experience.
• ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 exposure advantageous.
• SOX or similar control environment exposure advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and consolidate operating expenditure across multiple entities and cost centres.
• Prepare monthly reporting and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Lead the annual opex budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts.
• Challenge cost centre owners on expenditure, assumptions and variances.
• Conduct detailed reviews of major expense categories and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage cost allocations, intercompany charges and group recharges.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to improve visibility of operating costs.
• Support ERP and process improvement initiatives, including automation of reporting.
• Monitor procurement compliance and expenditure controls.
• Develop and implement expenditure policies and controls.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Act as a finance business partner to cost centre owners and senior stakeholders.
