Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Warehouse Operations team in Midrand/Johannesburg. You will execute daily warehouse functions—receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatching—while maintaining accurate records and high operational standards.

You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor and Inventory team to ensure inventory accuracy, safety, and efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, safety standards, and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• High school diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Execute daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately to meet required deliverables and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor, Inventory team, and team members to resolve stock discrepancies and identify operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, security, and Warehouse Management System data accuracy standards.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Proven ability in task prioritization under pressure, detail-oriented problem solving, clear communication, and safe warehouse equipment operation.
• High school diploma (or equivalent qualification, preferably in logistics or a related field).
