Placements24 seeks an Operations Planner to craft detailed production schedules in the Nelspruit area. The role centers on forecasting demand and coordinating with production, procurement and logistics to keep plans on track and resources well-allocated.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, with 2–4 years in planning or similar roles and a degree in a related field. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Nelspruit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in operations planning, scheduling or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed operational schedules and production plans based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of plans.
• Monitor progress against plans, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage resource allocation including personnel, equipment and materials to optimize efficiency.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast future needs and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, resource utilization and performance metrics.
