Placements24 is partnering with a prominent national retailer to appoint an Operations Manager for the Randburg distribution center in Gauteng. You will lead warehouse staff, drive safety, and optimize receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field, 6+ years in warehouse operations, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office. You will monitor KPIs, implement improvements, and collaborate with logistics teams to meet delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse operations management.
Proven experience in managing large teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and cost savings.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
