Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a Senior Operations Leader in Cape Town to lead and develop Team Leads and Managers. You will own the quality of daily operations, ensure validation and consistency, and drive scalable quality control and training structures.

The role requires a collaborative leadership style, strong accountability, and the ability to adapt in a changing environment while delivering against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading leaders and their performing teams.
• Experience coordinating across managers, leads and operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Team Leads and Managers.
• Supports ownership of quality of daily operations.
• Ensure validation, accuracy, and consistency standards.
• Own and improve the quality control frameworks, workflow processes and training structures that keep the function reliable and scalable.
• Monitor team and data performance against KPIs, tracking error and exception rates and acting on trends early.
• Handle escalations above Team Lead level and remove blockers to delivery.
• Plan and manage capacity and pipeline across teams, balancing workload against deadlines and available resources.
• Optimise workflows, identify inefficiencies, implement changes and measure the impact on efficiency and accuracy.
• Apply Agile practices to guide and support Team Leads, keeping delivery organised, visible and consistent across teams.
• Build and streamline training programmes for new hires and existing team members.
• Report progress, risks and recommendations to the Director, providing clear input to support planning, prioritisation and resourcing.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team, Customer Support team and other internal teams.
