Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained in logistics operations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate transportation of goods for imports & exports.
• Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and manage logistics documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and security protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all logistics activities and shipment details.
• Address and resolve logistics-related issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide updates to customers on shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Utilize logistics management tools to track shipments and data.
• Capture estimates and process vendor invoices accurately.
• Maintain data accuracy in logistics systems and databases.
• Monitor sub-contractor costs and apply them appropriately.
• Maintain client database, office support and admin functions.

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in South Africa.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by strict compliance and in accordance with the Security and Operational procedures and code of practice.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and secure delivery for imports & exports.
• Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and manage logistics documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and security protocols in all logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including shipment details, compliance documentation, POD’s, shipment planning sheet as well as shipment calendar.
• Address and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers on shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Utilize logistics management tools to track and manage shipments and other logistics data.
• Capture estimates and process vendor invoice in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity in all logistics systems and databases.
• Monitoring of sub-contractor costs and application thereof.
• Maintain client database, office support and admin functions.
• Maintain person integrity and confidentiality of all information obtained within the Company, at all times, whether written, verbal or by any other means.
• Costing and Invoicing.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, operations, or related roles.
• Knowledge of secure logistics or related industry.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
