Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant based in Upington, Northern Cape, to drive operations improvement across client organizations. You will diagnose challenges, craft tailored strategies, and support implementation to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in operations management or management consulting, with strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or management consulting.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive operational assessments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Analyze workflows, supply chains, and resource allocation to identify bottlenecks.
• Design and implement performance management systems and metrics.
• Facilitate workshops with client teams to drive process improvements and change adoption.
• Support clients during the implementation phase of operational changes.
• Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with all levels of client organization.
