Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is seeking a Basic Ambulance Assistant to attend emergency calls and provide basic medical care in line with scope of practice. You will support ER24 operations and ensure readiness for urgent responses in the Rustenburg area.

The role requires a Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate, BLS experience, and knowledge of HPCSA guidelines. Proficiency in English is essential, and the position offers on-site work within Mediclinic facilities.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months to 1 year road BLS experience.
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years road BLS experience.
• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate.
• DESIRED EDUCATION: Training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate

DESIRED EDUCATION: Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
