The role requires a degree in Mining Engineering or related field, 10+ years of progressive management experience in open pit mining, and a proven track record of leading large teams and complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive management experience in open pit mining operations.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex mining projects.
• Strong understanding of mine planning software, fleet management systems, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of open pit mining operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
• Develop and implement annual mining plans, production targets, and budget forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Oversee maintenance and optimal performance of mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage a diverse workforce, promoting teamwork, efficiency, and professional development.
