Job summary

RSAWEB in Cape Town is seeking an on-site IT Support Technician to assist consumer and business customers with WiFi and Fibre services. You will configure, troubleshoot, and report on all on-site activities, and act as the liaison between RSAWEB and the customer.

The role requires at least three years of on-site support experience, one year of telephonic technical support, and basic networking skills; A+ and N+ certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Completed grade 12 or equivalent.
• 3 years on-site support experience for Wifi and/or Fibre.
• 1 year telephonic technical support experience.
• A+ and N+ certifications are beneficial.
• Basic network infrastructure implementation.

Responsibilities

• On-site support for Consumer and Business customers as required.
• Configure and troubleshoot WiFi and Fibre related products at customer sites.
• Act as liaison between RSAWEB and the customer during on-site visits.
• Document and report support activities conducted.
• Responsible for inventory and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain company vehicle logbook and coordinate collections/deliveries.
• Assist with general office maintenance and other tasks as required.
